Commencement 2005

On Friday, May 20, 2005 the class of 2005 gathered with family, friends, faculty, trustees and alumni at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall for Marymount Manhattan's 56th commencement ceremonies. United States Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D – N.Y.) was the commencement speaker and honorary degree recipient. Writer Ron Chernow and business leader James Buckman also received honorary degrees and offered their remarks to the graduates.

The class valedictorian was Sarah C. Cerullo, BA. The class speaker (voted to the position by members of the graduating class of 2005) was Lauren E. Morelli, BFA. Marymount Manhattan granted approximately 430 Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees at the ceremony.
