President's Medal Dinner 2006
Marymount Manhattan celebrated the spirit of the city and restaurateur Egi Maccioni at the 2006 President's Medal Gala Benefit, Wednesday, March 29 at the Rainbow Room. The event, which honors distinguished members of the community, raised $400,000. All funds will help the College continue to make a high quality liberal arts education an affordable option for a diverse body of students.
Mistress of Ceremonies was "queen of gossip" Liz Smith and gala co-chairs were MMC trustee Angela Vallot and Paul C. Lowerre '81.
MMC students Kathleen Donohue '06 and Christopher Pinnella '07 performed a medley of songs paying tribute to New York, accompanied by junior Nathan Atkinson '07 on the piano.
