Memorial Service for William Edwards Murray
The College hosted a memorial service for William Edwards Murray on October 30, 2007 in the Regina Peruggi Room. Murray was the former chairman of the board of trustees, trustee emeritus, generous supporter and close friend of many in the MMC community. Speakers at the event included director of the Writing Center Lewis Frumkes, Murray's daughter Elizabeth Murray, Sister Virginia Dorgan, Sister Rita Arthur, former MMC president Regina Peruggi and Peter Baker, vice president for Institutional Research and Planning Peter Baker. Attendees enjoyed musical performances by Stephanie Card '08 and Barbara Siesel. Family and friends gathered for a reception afterwards in the Black & White room.
