Student Activities
The Division provides opportunities to students to be involved in clubs and organizations. These organizations bring together individuals who share similar interests; create opportunities to expand the members' knowledge of the business world; establish student interaction with the community; provide occasions to meet and hear professionals from various fields; and encourage students to develop professionalism, leadership skills, and industry contacts. If you would like to start a new club, please contact business or accounting faculty who will guide you through the process. Presently, the Division offers the Marymount Business Association. This club is run by business students.
Marymount Business Association
The Marymount Business Association (MBA) aims to be inclusive and to encourage active participation from all students who have an interest in business. Students elect their own officers and operate the club. The club hosts activities which include career workshops, lectures, discussion groups, and field trips. The club is an exciting outlet for extra-curricular activities related to the Accounting and Business Management majors and minors. It also creates opportunities for students and faculty to get acquainted outside the classroom. Please contact Hannah Pressler, president of the MBA Club for more information.
