George, noted both nationally and internationally for his work with dance, first worked in the floral industry providing accessories for clients such as Halston and Jackie O. Next, he moved on to photo styling and prop building for advertising clients with work presented in print and super-bowl adds. Next, he costumed over 100 dances collaborating with choreographers who include Sophie Masslow, Annabelle Gamson, Lea Theadore, Joan Lombardie, Jane Comfort, Paul Sanasardo, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Marlies Yearby, Michael Mao, and Lyn Taylor-Corbett. All of this work has grown out of a love for theatre, character, color, texture, and movement."I am trying to capture the moments just as a thing blossoms or 'becomes' physically present. This effort has brought me to develop a kind of 'painting/sculpture,' which I hope to soon include in my repertoire."
