Recent Literature and Language department events have included readings by Bob Hicok, John Edgar Wideman, Maurice Manning, William Olsen, Grace Schulman, Tom Sleigh, Laure-Anne Bosselaar, Elaine Equi, Steve Orlen, Judith Kitchen, David Lehman, and Simi Linton. The department also hosts an annual publication party for the The Marymount Manhattan Review, at which contributors read their work.
