America: History and Life: Indexes and abstracts more than 2100 social science and humanities journals in the field of United States and Canadian history. Books and dissertations are included.
Ebrary With over 44,000 titles, Ebrary offers an extensive e-book collection covering a variety of academic disciplines.
ERIC: The Educational Resource Information Center contains citations and abstracts of international journals and report literature in education and related fields. Subjects include child development, classroom techniques, computer education, counseling and testing, administration, higher education, library science, and vocational and adult education.
Historical Abstracts: Provides English-language abstracts of scholarly literature on the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding North America). Covers approximately 1800 journals in over 50 languages. Special emphasis placed upon inclusion of English-language titles published around the world.
JSTOR JSTOR offers a high-quality, interdisciplinary archive to support scholarship and teaching. It includes archives of over one thousand leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as select monographs and other materials valuable for academic work. The entire corpus is full-text searchable, offers search term highlighting, includes high-quality images, and is interlinked by millions of citations and references.
Linguistics & Language Behavior Abstracts: A product of Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), this database provides abstracts on all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Coverage is also given to various fields of linguistics including descriptive, historical, comparative, theoretical and geographical linguistics. Abstracts range from 1973 - the present.
MLA International Bibliography: Indexes 3,000 English language and foreign periodicals as well as books, book chapters, and dissertations. Its subject matter includes critical works on literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. Reviews of literary and scholarly works are not included. MLA does not provide abstracts.
