America: History and Life: Indexes and abstracts more than 2100 social science and humanities journals in the field of United States and Canadian history. Books and dissertations are included.
ERIC: The Educational Resource Information Center contains citations and abstracts of international journals and report literature in education and related fields. Subjects include child development, classroom techniques, computer education, counseling and testing, administration, higher education, library science, and vocational and adult education.
Historical Abstracts: Provides English-language abstracts of scholarly literature on the history of the world from 1450 to the present (excluding North America). Covers approximately 1800 journals in over 50 languages. Special emphasis placed upon inclusion of English-language titles published around the world.

MLA International Bibliography: Indexes 3,000 English language and foreign periodicals as well as books, book chapters, and dissertations. Its subject matter includes critical works on literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. Reviews of literary and scholarly works are not included. MLA does not provide abstracts.
